Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 5, 2026
Welcome to Broom Corners, the digital home of The Broom Squires Marketplace. We are honored to have you visit our village.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of The Broom Squires Marketplace website, blog, and services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by The Sage Mage, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Platform, whether to read our lore, purchase a heritage besom, or simply browse, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Nature of Our Guild (The Marketplace)
The Broom Squires Marketplace acts as a venue – a digital village square – allowing independent artisans, broom makers, and suppliers (“Artisans”) to sell their handcrafted goods and materials directly to buyers (“Buyers”).
We are a Venue: We do not manufacture, store, or inspect the items sold by our Artisans. We cannot guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the items, nor the truth or accuracy of Artisan listings.
Transactions: Any contract for sale is directly between the Buyer and the Artisan. We are not a traditional retailer.
2. User Accounts & Registration
To participate fully in our marketplace, you must register for an account.
You must be at least 18 years of age to form a binding contract.
You are responsible for keeping your account password (your “digital key”) secure.
You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
3. Community Standards & Acceptable Use
Whether you are leaving a review, commenting on our blog, or communicating with an artisan, we require all guests to conduct themselves with the respect befitting a traditional craft guild.
No harassment, hate speech, or abusive language will be tolerated.
You may not use the Platform for any illegal activities.
You may not attempt to hack, scrape, or otherwise disrupt the digital infrastructure of Broom Corners.
4. Intellectual Property
Our Lore: The content we produce—including our blog posts, tutorials, branding, original photography, and the “Broom Corners” concept – is owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
Artisan Content: Artisans retain ownership of the images and descriptions they upload but grant us a license to use this content to promote their shop and our marketplace.
5. Third-Party Links & Affiliate Content
Our blog occasionally contains links to third-party websites or affiliate links (e.g., for specialized crafting tools). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or goods of these external sites.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Broom Squires Marketplace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. Your use of the platform is at your own risk. The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
7. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between a Buyer and an Artisan, we encourage the parties to communicate amicably to resolve it. While we provide a platform for communication, we have no obligation to resolve disputes between users. Any legal dispute with The Broom Squires Marketplace itself shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of New Mexico, USA, under its applicable laws.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update the ledgers of our Terms from time to time. We will notify our community of significant changes by posting a notice on our Platform.
