Stocking the Mercantile: A Standard of Ash and Corn
By The Guild Master
Why do we gather here at Broom Corners? It is not merely to trade, but to protect a standard. As the custodian of this mercantile, it is my solemn duty to ensure that every good passing through our digital gates honors the heritage of the broom squire.
Our standards are uncompromising. We demand natural materials: untainted broomcorn, raw tampico fiber, solid hardwoods, and natural dyes. Mass-produced, factory-stamped wares hold no place within our ledgers. We evaluate every artisan seeking entry into our guild on the merit of their authenticity and their adherence to heirloom-quality construction.
Whether you are a master broom maker offering a custom-commissioned cobwebber, or a supplier of raw, unbleached twine, your offerings must reflect the dedication of the old-world crafts. We are here to elevate the craft, and that begins with demanding nothing less than excellence from the harvest to the hearth.
